Privacy

This notice explains how YBTech ("we") handles personal data under Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA). If there is any difference between the language versions, the English and Bahasa Melayu versions apply.

What we collect

• Wallet code and the credits in it.
• Shopee order number and Shopee username, when you claim an order, so we can check that the order is yours and paid.
• Phone numbers we issued to you and the SMS codes received, so we can show them to you. We do not receive your own phone number.
• Technical data: IP address and basic browser information, used for security (stopping abuse and guessing of wallet codes).
• Messages you send us on WhatsApp or by email.

We do not ask for your name, IC number, address or payment card details. Payment happens on Shopee.

Why we use it

To give you numbers and codes, keep your credits correct (including automatic refunds), prevent fraud and abuse, answer your questions, and meet legal duties.

Who we share it with

• SMS number suppliers — we request numbers from them; we do not send them your personal data.
• Shopee — to check your order (Shopee already has this data).
• Service providers that run the website for us: hosting (DigitalOcean, servers in Singapore), Cloudflare (security check on the claim form), and backup storage. Data may therefore be stored outside Malaysia, with similar protection.
• Authorities, when the law requires it.

We do not sell your data.

How long we keep it

• SMS codes and message text: deleted after 90 days.
• Wallet and credit records: kept while your wallet is in use and for up to 2 years after, for accounting and dispute handling.
• Security logs (IP addresses): kept for a short time, normally less than 30 days.

Your choices and rights

You may ask to access or correct your personal data, or ask questions about how we use it, by contacting us below. Giving us your Shopee order number is needed to claim an order; without it we cannot give you credits for that order.

Security

Data is sent over HTTPS, secret keys are encrypted, and access to the admin area is protected by password and two-factor login.
